After Context delivered a highly successful website for the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP) national website, the ASMP decided to again use our content management and website development services for their next project: The Digital Photography Best Practices and Workflow site, or dpBestflow for short. The DP Bestflow initiative was an ambitious project organized by the ASMP and funded by the Library of Congress. The goal was to create a comprehensive resource for standards and best practices regarding digital photography.
The ASMP again teamed up with Chicago's Grillo Group for graphic design, while Context performed the web development and content management implementation. The most impressive part of the site, however, is the immense amount of rich, useful content, the majority of which is the handiwork of digital photography gurus Richard Anderson (author of Digital Photography Best Practices and Workflow) and Peter Krogh (author of The DAM Book: Digital Asset Management for Photographers).
Context worked closely with Richard, Peter, and the rest of the team to Deploy the Drupal content management system, implement the design and all website functionality, and also helped to organize the structure of the site.
